Create Any Type of Payment Buttons

You can create various types of payment buttons included with Buy Now, Pay Now, Donate, Add to Cart or any type of buttons you wish.

Button Labels

Any text label short or long can be set for each of your payment buttons. E.g. “Buy Now” or “Buy My Awesome Product” there are no limits.

Colourful Buttons

There are unlimited numbers of colours you can set for each of your payment buttons using the built in RGB colour picker.

Guest Payments

Define for each of the payment button to allow or disallow guest payments. Guest payments mean no login required for the purchase.

Quantity Field

Define for each of the payment button to display or not the quantity field next to the payment button.

Button Types

There are two types of payment buttons “Buy Now” and “Cart”.

If “buynow” has been set after the payment button is clicked the buyer immediately redirected to the payment gateway to complete his purchase.

If “cart” has been set after the payment button is clicked the product will be added into the shopping cart.

Products and Custom Products

You can assign each of your product with the created payment button using the product ID attribute or you can set the “custom_item” attribute to “yes” then set up your custom item name and price for each of the payment buttons.

Payment Gateways

Right now Cataloggi’s payment buttons supports two payment gateways.

PayPal Standard (Included)

Add-On: Stripe Credit Card Payments (Included with a Pop-Up payment form)

Order Receipt

Upon any sales made you can set up to display a detailed order receipt using the “ctlggi_order_receipt” shortcode.

Email Notifications

Upon any sales made both admin and buyer will receive an email notification. SMTP mails are welcome via the built in SMTP mailer function.

Attribute: “id” Value: product id e.g. 1234
Attribute: “type” Value: buynow or cart
Attribute: “gateway” Value: the payment gateway name e.g. paypalstandard or stripe
Attribute: “custom_item” Value: yes or no
Attribute: “custom_item_name” Value: any text
Attribute: “custom_item_price” Value: any number
Attribute: “quantity” Value: yes or no
Attribute: “guest_payment” Value: yes or no
Attribute: “label_one” Value: any text e.g. ” – Buy Now”
Attribute: “label_two” Value: any text e.g. ” + Checkout”
Attribute: “color_one” Value: RGB Color value e.g. “#28a0e5”
Attribute: “color_two” Value: RGB Color value e.g. “#28a0e5”

Attributes in Detail

The “id” Attribute

The ID attribute is the product ID. You can find each of the product IDs at Admin->Cataloggi->Products under the ID column.

The “type” Attribute

If “buynow” has been set after the payment button is clicked the buyer immediately redirected to the payment gateway to complete his purchase.

If “cart” has been set after the payment button is clicked the item will be added into the shopping cart.

The “gateway” Attribute

This is the payment gateway for the payments. The gateway attribute is the payment gateway registered name. Can be “paypalstandard” or “stripe” or any installed gateway. If not defined it will use “paypalstandard” as default.

The “custom_item” Attribute

Using this attribute you can create custom payment buttons. If the “custom_item” attribute set to “yes” this will ignore the product ID attribute so you can set up your custom item name and price for the payment button.

The “custom_item_name” Attribute

The “custom_item_name” attribute is only active if the “custom_item” attribute set to “yes” so you can specify your custom item name for the payment button.

The “custom_item_price” Attribute

The “custom_item_price” attribute is only active if the “custom_item” attribute set to “yes” so you can specify your custom item price for the payment button.

The “quantity” Attribute

If the “quantity” attribute set to “yes” the quantity field will be displayed next to the payment button.

The “guest_payment” Attribute

If the “guest_payment” attribute set to “yes” it will allow the buyer to purchase the product immediately without to login. If set to “no” it will force the buyer to login to complete his purchase.

The “label_one” and “label_two” Attributes

The “label_one” attribute display the first button text label. E.g. “Buy Now”.
The “label_two” attribute display the second button text label. E.g. “Checkout”.
You can set up any text values.

The “color_one” and “color_two” Attributes

The “color_one” attribute display the first button color. E.g. “#28a0e5”.
The “color_two” attribute display the second button color. E.g. “#28a0e5”.
Any RGB color values are welcome.

Tip: You can use any RGB color picker to create your button color. Just search on Google for “rgb color picker”.

Examples

Custom Buy Now Button

The custom buy now buttons do not have the ID attribute and the “custom_item” attribute should be set to yes.
